every immigrant's life, but it can also be quite challenging.

about doing it. This information might also be useful to people
who have previously been to the United States as students,
tourists, on business or on any type of non-immigrant visa, and
who are now becoming immigrants who wish to live in the U.S.

Places to live.
There are many resources for finding an
apartment or a house. Whether you are looking to rent or
own, the internet provides many sites.
The classified ads of your local daily newspaper are also good
places to search for a place to live. Prices and requirements
for renting vary, but most rental companies will ask for the
following:
- proof of employment or other financial source
- references
- deposit in the amount of one month's rent
- first and last month's rent
The above can be waived if you are willing to pay a larger
deposit. Prices can often be negotiated. |
